Warranty Policy

TERMS OF WARRANTY

The Producer guarantees the smooth operation of the product in accordance with the technical and exploitation conditions.

  1. Technet’s products are warranted for a period of 12 months from the date of sale while pneumatic jacks used in swivel chairs and armchairs are covered by 36 month warranty.
  2. The warranty covers failures due to defective parts or defects caused during the manufacturing process.
  3. Product defects discovered during the warranty period will be removed free of charge within 14 working days after receiving the claimed goods at the point of sale.
  4. When repair is impossible, or is associated with excessive costs, the manufacturer reserves the right to replace the product with a new one  of the same value.
  5. Defective products or parts become property of the Producer after the replacement.
  6. The warranty covers only products located in the territory of Poland.
  7. The warranty does not cover Customer’s right to refund lost profits or provide compensation for losses arising in connection with the product failure.
  8. Repair period will automatically extend the warranty period of time required to make repairs.
  9. The provisions of the Civil Code are applicable in all matters not regulated by these terms. In cases not regulated by these terms of guarantee, the relevant provisions of the Civil Code and Law of. 27 July 2002. the specific conditions of consumer sale and amendments to the Civil Code and Act of 27 July 2002 on specific terms and conditions of consumer sale and amendments to the Civil. Code.

Liability exceptions:

  • mechanical damages of product and defects caused by them,
  • wear and tear of the product,
  • malfunctions or damage caused by misuse or negligence of the product,
  • defects resulting from improper assembly, inconsistent with the manual,
  • damages caused by impropoer transport or handling (not applicable to the transport of a product performed by the Producer),
  • products modified or otherwise altered by unauthorized persons
  • pieces of wood used in the products, if the claim relates to differences in grain arrangement or in shades of colors typical for a raw material,
  • painted surface damages caused by the use of chemical substances containing water or water compounds, used for the purpose of conservation (cleaning) of the surface,
  • painted surface damages caused by the application of components for the purpose of  conservation (cleaning), causing the dissolution of the paint/coating finish.

Rules for correct use of products

  1. Products should be used for their intended purpose.
  2. Products should be protected from direct sunlight.
  3. Products should be protected from moisture.
  4. Products should be used away from open sources of fire.

Armchairs and chairs

  1. Seats are designed to be used by only one person.
  2. It is forbidden to sit on them by several people at once, stand on the seats and place on them heavy objects.
  3. Hard casters are used for soft surfaces (carpets), while soft casters for hard surfaces (laminate, parquet).
  4. Leather products should be at least 50 cm away from radiators and other heat sources.
  5. For cleaning and leather conservation special care products should be used.
  6. Upholstery made ​​from eco-leather or imitation leather should be cleaned regularly with a mild solution of detergent (shampoo, soap) and warm water using a soft sponge or brush. After cleaning upholstery, wipe it with a soft cloth dampened with water and then wipe dry.
  7. Upholstery fabrics should be cleaned with a semi-dry cloth moistened with water, or a mild detergent solution.

Painted and chrome painted surfaces.

To clean painted and chrome painted surfaces it is recommended to use products especially designed for this purpose, not containing abrasives. Painted surfaces should not be cleaned with water.
